After I'd had it for a few days there was no visible blood in the urine but when I wiped it was slightly red as if blood might be present. I'm at university and was coming home the next day so decided to leave it and go to the doctors when I was back at home. Typically a UTI would not cause a miscarriage, unless you took antibiotics that are unsafe for pregnant women to treat it. If the UTI turns into a bladder infection and it gets bad enough then the infection may get into your entire system and pose a risk to the baby but the chances of that aren't very high.
